Storytime Part II: The police stopped me in Turkey

Hello all!

I want to tell you the second part of the story that I posted some days ago. If you haven't checked it out I would recommend you read it. Just scroll down a bit more.

After almost 20 minutes of questions, the policewoman finally stopped. She started to tellme that everything was ok. That they believed all the info that I told them. However, she added something that even today shocks me.
They told me that the reason why I was interviewed was that I was 25 years old and traveling by myself to a country that they didn't consider safe enough. Then they said that I may want to get married to a member of ISIS LOL. Isn't dumb that I wanted to marry an ISIS member having lots of criminals in my own country to marry instead? LOL for me it is.

And well after that experience, my life in the airports is not the same. Don't get me wrong. I love being in the airport the feelings are great.
But this anxiety of arriving in a new country and being stopped every time is not nice.

Have you experienced something similar? Let me know in the comments.

                                THANKS FOR READING

Storytime: I dislocated my finger while driving. I know it was stupid.

Hello all! I have a hilarious story for you guys, sometimes I feel my life is a comedy. I´m a distracted person and is getting worse. Sometimes I find my keys in the fridge or even my phone among other strange situations that I provoke in myself. I was driving to Cuernavaca, Morelos which is a state close to Mexico City. I was leaving a work meeting so I was feeling very euphoric and excited. Sometimes I´m not patient so that day I was wearing boots, and Cuernavaca is a warm place so I wanted to switch my boots for sandals.  I stopped at the red light, and I tried to take off one of my boots. I was doing it roughly and fast. I pulled with all my strength and.... my thumb dislocated :(. When I saw my thumb hanging I freaked out!. I was completely shocked. The red light changed to green and I moved the gear but avoided looking at my thumb.  I pulled over and called my parents. I explained the situation very excitedly and suddenly I started to pass out. I listened like an e...

Tips for your trip: Areas to stay at Santorini

Hello all! I don´t know if you remember this song called "Stereo Love"? Well back in time, I loved this song. When I watched the video I liked it a lot more. The video was filmed at Santorini. I immediately fell in love with the location. When I had the chance I went to know this captivating island. When I was doing the research to visit it. I learned it was expensive. However, it is divided between zones that have different pricing. Of course, the most costly has "the best view". To be honest, I found all of Santorini with great views.  Here you have the different areas: Oia and Imerovigli I would say this is the most expensive area, there are many of some of the most expensive hotels in Europe here. You can enjoy breathtaking sunsets and the white spectacular architecture  Besides, there still are affordable hotels. The hotel I stayed in was "Maryloujhon Villas Oia" the price nowadays is CAD$389 + taxes per night. Fira  If you like to party and you don...

Today´s Inspirational Place

So today my inspirational place is :                                                                 Serengeti National Park   I´m crazy about animals. I long for visiting Tanzania, especially Serengeti. It is in my medium-term plans.  However, is not cheap at all: If you are willing to camp outside of the National Park it will cost around USD$285-USD$425 per person per day. If you don´t like camping, well it will cost around USD$320-USD$625 per person per day. So if you love animals like me, and you have the budget, don´t think twice and visit Tanzania.                                                                Would you like to visit another safa...
