Tips for your trip: Areas to stay at Santorini

Hello all!

I don´t know if you remember this song called "Stereo Love"? Well back in time, I loved this song. When I watched the video I liked it a lot more. The video was filmed at Santorini. I immediately fell in love with the location.

When I had the chance I went to know this captivating island. When I was doing the research to visit it. I learned it was expensive. However, it is divided between zones that have different pricing. Of course, the most costly has "the best view". To be honest, I found all of Santorini with great views.

Here you have the different areas:

Oia and Imerovigli

I would say this is the most expensive area, there are many of some of the most expensive hotels in Europe here. You can enjoy breathtaking sunsets and the white spectacular architecture  Besides, there still are affordable hotels. The hotel I stayed in was "Maryloujhon Villas Oia" the price nowadays is CAD$389 + taxes per night.

Fira

If you like to party and you don´t care too much about beaches then this is for you. You can spend between CAD$100-$400 per night.

So it all depends on what are you looking for and what is your budget.

What area would you stay in at Santorini?

Tips for your trip: Does "Coco" the movie like you?

Today in  Mexico we "celebrate" the Day of the Dead. We usually make an "ofrenda" which we offer our deads their favorite foods and snacks. People believe the dead will come in the middle of the night to eat the essence of the food. There are some fantastic places to see this colorful celebration: Mexico City: Día de los Muertos parade. Get there super early if you want to enjoy it. Oaxaca Downtown: The most cultural state of Mexico has always had the best traditional festivities.  Mixquic: This small town is located 30 mins away from Mexico City, personally my favorite for this celebration. The creators of "Coco" were inspired by this place. Did you know about these places? Let me know in the comments

Solo Traveling KEEP YOURSELF SAFE for girls Tip #2

Hello there! So today I want to share with you my second tip for traveling alone being a girl.  I´m going, to be honest, I don't enjoy reporting myself, the fact of sharing my location is sort of cutting my wings lol. However, it is a way to let your people know where you are in case something goes wrong. And believe me, simple situations can turn into a nightmare, so it´s important always to let know people where you are. There are many ways to do it, you can use Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, Telegram.. etc. Remember, sharing is caring!! Share your location with family and friends.  Your mom is going to be grateful, your dad and me! I strongly encourage you to do it when visiting a new place. Is not going to take you more than 1 minute to do it. Keep traveling and keep yourself safe.
